Workers in Training

Preparing Vessels for Kingdom Service

Understanding WIT

Discover how the program prepares individuals to serve with excellence, humility, and spiritual depth.

At Chapel of Praise, we believe that service begins with preparation. The Workers in Training (WIT) program is our spiritual development pathway for individuals who feel led to serve in the house of God. Whether you're drawn to music, teaching, ushering, media, or intercession, this program lays the foundation for faithful, fruitful service.

In other words, the Workers in Training (WIT) program is our foundational discipleship track for individuals who feel called to serve in any capacity within the chapel.

This program is designed to equip believers with biblical knowledge, spiritual discipline, and practical ministry skills. WIT helps you grow in character, commitment, and clarity of purpose.

Program Structure

A breakdown of the spiritual and practical journey every trainee walks through.

The program typically runs for several weeks and includes:

  • Weekly sessions covering topics like spiritual authority, stewardship, ministry ethics, and personal devotion

  • Interactive workshops and group discussions

  • Practical assignments and ministry exposure

  • Mentorship from seasoned leaders

  • Final assessment and commissioning service

Participants receive a certificate upon completion and are interview before being welcomed into the chapel workforce.

Who Can Join?

The WIT program is open to: students of McPherson University, staff members, chapel attendees who desire to serve, and anyone with a teachable spirit and a heart for God.

Over the years, WIT has raised hundreds of committed workers who now serve in various capacities across the chapel. Many have testified of personal revival, deeper understanding of Scripture, and a renewed sense of purpose.
